THE FELL

November 2021.  in addition to Birdsong I have read another British author with a COVID 19 year as the time frame. Birdsong was set in that year, with the author praising the quieter year with traffic etc.  One could listen to and identify bird sounds more readily. 

Secondly Sarah Moss in The Fell writes of  Kate, who struggled with 2 weeks quarantine.She disappears one day, the restraints too much for her. A subtle thriller on a hill when she falls and a mountain search and rescue is then put in place.
